There are bands such as Sombres Forets, Miserere Luminis, and this band Gris.

terrible. misere luminis is a collab of sombres and gris.

I've never been to Canada (although I've been wanting to visit for a while) so I'm not exactly sure if it's actually depressing there, but with the type of black metal that these guys are churning out, it wouldn't surprise me one bit.

firstly, we don't really care. secondly, i get where you're going with the whole 'kanadia is depressing' shtick, but it's pretty irrelevant. australia has depressive bm, colombia has depressive bm, france has depressive bm. it makes no difference.

Gris pretty much accomplish their goal and more on this album and that very goal is to fill the listener with despair, despair and hatred for mankind basically.

awkward

The tremolo picked riffs are very melodic while still giving you that empty feeling inside, if that makes any sense.

if you need to ask if it makes any sense, then you shouldn't write it down in the first place

make them loathe in their own self pity.

doesn't make sense

the review is in general very awkward to read and actually makes me not want to listen to an album i quite like. your descriptions are painfully generic. you really need to read your reviews out loud after you write them so you can actually hear how disjointed and amateurish they sound.

It's by no means bad prouduction, it's just not something that you would find on a Dimmu Borgir record so if that's all you're experienced with then this will be a big change for you.

The proudction of this doesn't compare to the prouduction of that really terrible band that never had good prouduction anyway.

prouduction
