Lol, speaking of flat bill deathcore kids, I was a tattoo joint near my house yesterday, wasting some time after the Dolphins game, and I see a kid wearing an all-black flat-billed cap and a Crimson Armada shirt. Guess what he wanted to get inked on his chest?

I guess there was a mix of both of those. I didn't like what I heard of them on myspace. I only listened to like one song though. I'll take another listen I suppose.

The Despised Icon cover for Day of Mourning. The artist told him there's no way he could do that today, he'd have to call in and make an appointment to have it sized. We all had a chuckle.

Haha, Jesus Christ. Like he wouldn't regret that in a year or two when he's moved on to some other genre.

I always tell people that getting band tattoos is worse than getting the name of your spouse

It seriously is. No doubt I love hardcore and pop punk and shit now, but I'm sure when I'm 40 I won't be kicking over lamps in my room to The Ghost Inside.

Well, I kinda hope when I'm 40 that I'm still listening to some of the stuff I do today(hardcore, 90's post-grunge, etc), but I definitely don't see me going as crazy over it as I do today. The only name I have inked on my body is my daughter's name, but I guess that understandable.

I'll still be punching 14 year olds in the face to Whitechapel when I'm 40.

@pit: Oh, I definitely plan on listening to some of the stuff I do today for quite some time. Bands like Quicksand, Cave In, etc. have actual staying power. I'm just talking more about these trendy bands that are only around for an album or two. Getting your daughters name is totally understandable. It's not like she will not be your daughter anytime soon.

@mappy: Sorry, Within the Ruins just isn't doing it for me. Lol at punching kids when you're 40 though.

Nah but seriously I love that band so I'm extremely angry.

It's not terrible, but it's just not something I wanna spend my doll hair's on.
