Yeah. i wish they had a straight up music/cd store where i live. Not best buy or FYE. I love my CD copies of stuff and blaring them in the car. This one would def. be a want on the acquire list.

Definitely would be a good album if you're trying to get into OSDM, which is the best subgenre of metal IMO.

Even if black metal is still my favorite genre overall, I can't deny that OSDM has a lot more classic/great albums and would still be considered the "better" genre.

Yeah, Sweden and finland pretty much popped out Classic Scand. stuff. Even today they still have some pretty good/decent bands rise out for there.

Ahhh i want some legit real vikings to form the worlds greatest Scand metal band. Though that has already happened many times. Norway has put out some good stuff, this is so true.

Most Norwegian black metal is entry-level stuff. There's a bunch of other great scenes if you get deeper into the genre. Not saying you guys aren't more into the genre already, just speaking in general.

Yeah, i was in northern sweden earlier this year.... not much for metal up there but people still knew some stuff. Gothenburg is where i hear its at.

Or you a new user or are you an alt bro? Don't think I've really seen you around before, unless of course you are an alt. :p

in my experience entry level stuff is typically the cream of the crop. but yeah, there are other great BM scenes, France in particular has a solid one.

I am still a new user. I listen to a pretty wide range of things. Living in europe for a while i traveled a lot so didn't really get on my laptop as much. I was pissed when i couldnt get my Wacken tickets in Germany though... Sold out . I might go this year though .

Well yeah, a lot of the classics are pretty entry-level as well. And I agree, France has a great black metal scene, as well as Germany and Eastern Europe with groups such as Coldworld, Der Weg Einer Freiheit, Nocte Obducta, Nokturnal Mortum, Drudkh, Paysage d'Hiver, Darkspace....I could go on and on haha.
