The game features a truly great soundtrack that lives up to the game itself and it’s nothing
short of amazing.

itself is redundant
is, not it's

Most of the music here is upbeat with techno touches added to it and some of the tunes could
even be placed on a feature length movie soundtrack. It ranges from slow stealth and infectious
harmony music to fast adrenaline action music.

Comma after "added to it".

"could even be placed" would make more sense replaced with something like "wouldn't be out of
place", to make it clear that you mean these songs would fit in a movie.

"slow stealth", "infectious harmony music", "fast adrenaline action music" are all meaningless
phrases.

Real fans of the game would instantly recognise tracks such as “Encounter” (while your
discovered by the enemy),

will, not would
you're, not your

You should say something along the lines of "(which plays when you're discovered by the enemy in the
game)", because that parenthetical insert doesn't make much sense as is.

the emotional “Enclosure” with it’s soothing melodramatic piano during the cut-scene of
Sniper Wolf’s death and “Rex’s Lair” near the climax.

Your sentence structure there is confusing. I would re-write it like this:

the soothing, melodramatic piano of "Enclosure", which plays out during the death of character
Sniper Wolf, and "Rex's Lair", which plays out in the climax of the game.

Other notable highlights include “Mantis’ Hymn” with it’s haunting and creepy vibe and the
epic “Escape” which brings you right back to the final battle you have with "Liquid Snake" at the
end. Of course there is the glorious title track which by itself, would encourage you to embark on
your own personal spy mission.

Commas missing. Should read like this:

Other notable highlights include "Mantis' Hymn", with its haunting, creepy vibe, and the epic
"Escape", which brings you right back to memories of the game's final battle with "Liquid Snake'.
And of course, there is the glorious title track which on its own encourages you to embark on your
own personal spy mission.

Stylistically, I would say 'encourage' is a weak word choice too. Replace it with inspire, maybe.

The best track here by a mile is the beautiful "End Title / The Best Is Yet to Come" which is
very emotional and has a lot of depth. It features a lovely chorus by Irish singer Aoife Ni
Fhearraigh on lead vocals (which is amazing) and has a very Celtic feel to it.

Comma after come.

"on lead vocals (which is amazing)" is redundant.

Need a comma before "and has a very Celtic feel to it".

That's all the problems I spot on a quick once over. I don't know that much about writing, so I
could easily be mistaken on any of this. Anyway, great review, always good to see people
contributing. Like I should probably be doing...

Just as a comment on what's best and what's not about MGS.... it's MGS4. As an all-encompassing experience, and on a level that made me care more for a character than any other game (Solid Snake I mean), MGS4 is the king, and IMO one of if not the only pretty much FLAWLESS game ever made. It took the integration of movie and game introduced in MGS and made into the perfect synthesis. The story? Fugghedaboudit...

My young mind was blown when Psycho Mantis told me exactly what games I played and then anticipated my every move.

I completed the game over ten times, it never got old for me. I love the the fight with Sniper Wolf (the 2nd battle) and the cut scene during her death. Fucking awesome.

Yeah, only 1-9. Not too many...

It's probably my third favorite series. Snake Eater is one of my absolute favorite games.
