Definitely one of the most important games ever made IMO. MGS3&4 are the pinnacle of the series but this game is still a classic.

1 and 3 were the best ones. 4 is good but it kinda turns into a movie.

"I added more detail and redeemed this review for how it should be."
You did indeed! The review is pretty well-written, so pos. Also, I am still amazed you wrote it so quickly.

Cheers pizzamachine. Yeah after I created that list last night, I went straight to work on that review and posted it within a short period of time. When I got up today, I polished the review up and added more details etc.

Very efficient. Keep it up, the site can always use more good writers.

Nice review. This is one of my favorite soundtracks ever. The MGS4 soundtrack is amazing as well.

mediocre review

You've definitely improved the review from first posting but it's still not pos worthy for me, sorry, but it's good for someone who doesn't write reviews often. Also, why is there no love for MGS2 in here, 't'was far better than 3 and shaded 1 IMO (haven't played 4).

If any of these MGS fans here want to add other games in the series to the data base and write a review, feel free to do so.

Snake Eater is 100000000000x better than any of the other games. Case closed

There are MANY who wouldn't share your opinion, each to their own eh.

Hey maidenpmcc.
So I reread your review, and was quite impressed by how you a.) dealt with criticism, and b.) used them to improve your review. I won't lie, the review's not perfect, but it certainly flows a lot better now. It still needs more flesh to it, but overall it's a step in the right direction. Good work man.
As you can probably tell, I negged this review when I first read it - unfortunately I don't think Sputnik allows me to un-neg a review, but please know that I wish I could withdraw the neg. The effort alone is worth a pos, and the review is definitely solid now.
Cheers! Do review more! We need people like you to further expand the Sputnik database! =)

Glad to see many of you think Snake Eater is the best MGS.
Because it definately is.

Irving, your one of the decent genuine people on this site. You don't start shit etc. Yeah I don't take critiscism the wrong way, I try to learn from it and adapt. With this review, I felt that I couldn't write anymore because its a game soundtrack and not a music album. Therefore theres only so much you can say compared to a music album like information etc.
Well since you negged (which is justified), why dont you just go back to the page and click on yes. It will change and your neg will turn into a pos.
Yeah I might review more, it's not really my thing. I wish I was better at it.

There quite a few grammar errors here, but those aren't that important.
Assuming you're going to write more reviews, which I hope you do, try to talk more about instrumentation, and the content of the album. The improvement in formatting and ideas in this review since I last read it is superb, though.

I tend to write on microsoft word and then I do a spellcheck which doesn't work to the best effect.
State the grammar errors man, if you please. Will correct them.

OH I DIDN'T KNOW I COULD DO THAT LOL. It's done now in any case, and for the record, I believe you more than deserve it.
Yeah I might review more, it's not really my thing. I wish I was better at it.
Please do review more. It's always interesting (and fun!) to hear what other people have to say. I for one suspect that you have quite a bit to share; with regards to improvement, I believe it just comes with time, effort, and patience. (I am not the best person to talk about this though - only have a measly nine reviews to my name HAHA!)
And thanks for the compliment. It's very nice of you to say that, and I appreciate it a lot =) I guess that at the end of the day, we're all here to learn, and being critical and receiving criticism is the best way to do that.
