SO GOOD
i bought it on the day it was released and fell in love with it instantly. It was one of my smoothest album-love relationships. It allowed me to grow right on me.
i saw em perform the new one already and they seem not to step it drastically up, but this business-as-usual daydreamlike, psychedelic post-punk atmosphere is absolutely fine with me.
For this one:
there are some nice catchy basslines or riffs as in warpaint and undertow, then there is the nice intimidating ballad-sort-of-thing baby and then there are lots of songs with good lyrics and re- identifieable hijacking climaxes.
