I was hoping for some classical style characteristics after reading the review and it's basically
epic hardcore with some strings. there's nothing that recalls the classical period of music apart
from the presence of violins. you can call that classical but I wouldn't let that term define this
album, cause it's basically post-hardcore/metal. like envy's lame little brother *cough

there are thousands of loved debut albums in the world (and some could argue this isn't one) so that's
a gross overstatement

Lol well hey, if you don't like it, power to you. But, I love this thing. I actually find there are a lot of classical elements in this song. It's not necessarily that it's completely classical mixed with hardcore. It's mainly got classical elements, with some moments reminiscent of a classical piece, and then it breaks into the climactic points.
And this isn't a debut, it's an EP, they haven't released their debut yet.

Im in the band and I'd like to thank all who downloaded, reviewed and hopefully enjoyed the EP. We will be heading into the studio next month to record a few more songs for a second EP that is a companion piece to this one. The new one will have a much larger string ensemble and on top of all our usual nonsense has kind of a late 90's european hardcore meets cascadian black metal meets hans zimmer Inception soundtrack feel.
