Big Boi, Black Milk, Dark Time Sunshine, Kanye West -- I'd put all of those above it
this is about on par with MellowHype, The Roots, PackFM, Reflection Eternal etc. for me
some of the verses on here are just wack, the beats are damn consistent though

im actually not liking this much at all anymore. he spits like he has something to say but he has nothing. it ruins the whole listening experience for me. it's produced like this dark immersive piece but then he says something that makes me go wtf dude and fucks it all up

not sure about Kno as a rapper, but he's definitely a top-notch producer

Curren$y, weezy, cudi over this? Sorry, but that's just laughable. The production alone makes this album faaar superior to those.

haven't heard Curren$y or Lil Wayne, but this is definitely better than Cudi.
I need to listen to MellowHype again, lyrically it's definitely doper skiller than this but the beats on this are pretty nasty.

well curren$y has great beats plus his lyrics are actually good, lil wayne is better lyrically and delivery-wise, and cudi doesn't make me cringe while maintaining an interesting atmosphere throughout.
good production can't save a rap album if the rapping is shitty.

Lyrically, I would even take Kno over any of those three, except maybe Carter 2 or 3-era Wayne. Curren$y annoys the shit out of me. He may have some good rhyme schemes but he says absolutely nothing and it honestly just straight up baffles me that you like Cudi better than this.
Deacon kills his verses and there are some quality guest spots on this. Some sub-par rapping doesn't detract much from the excellent production, in my opinion.

he says absolutely nothing
have you listened to his album from 2010 because the version i listened to definitely had lyrics
also the rapping on here isn't just occasionally sub par. every time kno is rapping it is sub par. every song contains lines that just make me want to hit something.

I understand the essence of Weezy and honestly don't see any brilliance in delivery or lyrics. His lyrics are a tad better than delivery. I cringe whenever he hiccups like a sobbing 5 year old, though.

i dunno if you like hip hop and don't see brilliance in dedication 2, da drought 3, carter II, III then i'm not sure what to say. usually when i show wayne haters da drought 3 they shut up

I love hip-hop, but Weezy doesn't do it for me. Don't know what to say, maybe I'm a racist

I used to like Wayne a lot, haven't given him many listens the last couple years though
and yeah, the features on here are pretty ok, but Kno is just an awful rapper. cringe-worthy lines in basically every verse.
Cudi doesn't necessarily make me cringe from being corny or stupid, just incredibly boring, lame, uninspired etc whatever you want to call it.
