Teenagers cover themselves head to toe in clothing, covered in the band’s vaguely metaphorical name. Whether or not they understand the metaphor, one thing’s for certain, the kids dig it.

Lol, some girl set a dog on fire - that's not vaguely metaphorical at all

I don't really have a problem with Jake's voice live; the problem for me is his lack of stage presence. While the rest of the band seem to get into it, sometimes Jake just looks bored. Like everybody will be headbanging like crazy while he just stands there as stiff as a board twirling the mic.

Fantastic Review man.

I just can't stand his live vocals.

He was sick during this tour. My friend told me about it.

Everyone saying stuff like this should read the previous comments. Jake was sick during this show. I saw them live and his performance was perfect.

it sucks he was sick the day they recorded their live dvd because it makes him sound like a bad vocalist where he's actually really good live.

But they make the choice to release it... there is where the conundrum comes in.

I like this live album; even though Jake wasn't feeling good and it definitely showed, the stage presence the band had made up for it in fucking spades.

There was one particular shot where the whole band was jumping around like the crowd and that really captured the essence of what a live album should be about for me.

The vocals were very off, other than that it was great for any ABR fan's standards. Why did you call them "god-fearing" is all i'm asking myself.

Even though Jakes damaged vocals bring down this entire set, the performance of Meridian on this is so awesome.

They played the set the same day earlier incase anything happened at the actual concert. Yeah the vocals were really bad.

It's been a while since I wrote this review. I officially hate this band (minus perhaps a few songs). So obnoxiously repetitive . . .

I'll admit, I find it to be the weakest one out of all the albums I've got by them, but it's still decent.

i dont find their music that repetitive, except for the constant array of breakdowns. They are actually quite varied on their two more recent. Especially constellations.

From what I remember hearing, Jake, the vocalist, was sick for this part of the tour, so it's acceptable to me. I've yet to see them live, so this is definitely enough to hold me over until I see them. It felt a little stiff, but I still enjoyed it.
