This is the definitive MTV Unplugged session. If it wasn't for this release no one would even remember that unplugged was a thing. This album broke through into the mainstream in a way few ever do. My mom bought her own copy and she hadn't bought an album since she had to rebuy the white album on cassette.

Back in the day Unplugged was a thing that generated a 'buzz'
To a young teen it always seemed like old fossils on there but Dylan and Clapton were the definitive ones back then.
PJ had been on and it was great, 'our' bands were doing it
This thing was something else, it's just a shame that the kids knocking around now weren't there then to experience Nirvana in general being something else.
Ahhhh the '90s.
