Yeah MTV Unplugged was something special. This one is probably my all-time favorite unplugged.

You're supposed to shove this over the faces of people that say that Nirvana's overrated

This album is definitely my favorite one of all the MTV Unplugged live albums, and it's probably my favorite Nirvana release too.

This is how it went.

Kurt went, something else died, this was broadcast and Zak's bottom lip quivered.

It's never been the same I tell ya.

This is the definitive MTV Unplugged session. If it wasn't for this release no one would even remember that unplugged was a thing. This album broke through into the mainstream in a way few ever do. My mom bought her own copy and she hadn't bought an album since she had to rebuy the white album on cassette.

Back in the day Unplugged was a thing that generated a 'buzz'

To a young teen it always seemed like old fossils on there but Dylan and Clapton were the definitive ones back then.

PJ had been on and it was great, 'our' bands were doing it

This thing was something else, it's just a shame that the kids knocking around now weren't there then to experience Nirvana in general being something else.

Ahhhh the '90s.

Agreed zak. This unplugged was like a religious experience first time I watched it.
