Have you heard the demo version of Stop? If so, do you like that more? They're very different and recorded 4 years apart.

Trying to rank their discography. That's 140 songs (removing covers and not including yet-to-be-released Integrity Blues songs). Not sure it's worth it lol.

So, Integrity Blues exists now. Has anyone given it a listen? Thoughts? I'd say it's pretty much exactly as good as I thought it would be. I have it on 3.5 right now.

Ah shoot it could be close to a 4. So many great, creative ideas and some great songs. Pretty disjointed though imo, and a couple of songs I don't really like at all. It's like if Invented had a baby with Stay on My Side Tonight. That's the closest comparison I can make. But really, if you think you know what the album is going to sound like... you're wrong.
One thing's for sure... they couldn't make an album more different to Damage if they tried. It's as if Damage just never existed.

Bleed American or Futures. But it depends on what kind of music you're into.

metal, according to my pie chart

Futures then. It's not a metal album but it's entirely built on a foundation of chunky guitars.

Not joking at all Rowan. I really think it's the best comparison to make.

Bumped this and Chase to a 3. Felt pretty stupid having them at 2.5 to be honest.

Pass the Baby maaaaaaan. No Jimmy Eat World song has ever sounded like this song. It's so different but somehow it works. They pull it off so confidently. People will say it's a mix of Disintegration and Gotta Be Somebody's blues but that would be doing it a disservice honestly. Not that it is better or as good as Disintegration, but because there's so many elements to the song that are completely new. Definitely the standout track for me. Maybe not the best track but for sure the one I'm excited about the most.
I'll go as far as to say that, for me, Integrity Blues is what Invented should have been. As in... this is what they had in mind when they made Invented but maybe they didn't have the balls or creativity to pull it off just yet. Not that Invented isn't creative (it is one of their most creative albums since Clarity), but because Integrity Blues just pushes that creativity all the way to it's natural finish line. They needed the wake-up call that was the poor fan reaction to Damage to give them the kick they needed.
