I err copied it from vinyl onto a cassette tape with Cause of Death on the other side. I think somewhere that gets me some cultural (or antiquity) points.

Tried this out... I admit this isn't my gig as a disclaimer, but I find this incredibly homogenous and unmemorable. Some sweet guitar solos but I didn't remember any of it after 3 listens. Sounds like pretty by the books thrash/death metal. I just can't find THE thrash record that holds my attention and makes it memorable.

if this isn't memorable then i would think you just don't care much for death (or thrash)
which is ok
but to throw out some suggestions for MEMORABLE thrash, there's peace sells but who's buying, that's a memorable record.
also nice 4.5 on the it follows score
