They won't. And it's not like Galder can't riff bc I've heard his Old Man's Child stuff and that dude can play. He just needs to spend more time writing and less coming up with new weird facial expressions.

Well said. And since the release of Abrahadabra they started using those cringy costumes. Now they look more like WoW cosplayers than a SBM band.

"Forces of the Northern Night" makes the songs off this album more enjoyable to listen to. Gateways and Born Treacherous were cool even in the studio version, the rest improves a bit when played live with a goddamn orchestra. I'll have to listen to "Eonian" soon, pretty worried about that

I really like their earlier work but this and Eonian are below the potential of these pionners

this is easily the worst thing they've ever done. At least Eonian took some chances

No way Eonian is better than this. Riffs on Abrahadabra are better, drumming's better, songs are certainly better and Shagrath is in charge of vocals. Eonian was all choir.

Second half of Abrahadabra is the go. Ritualist, The Demiurge Molecule, A Jewel Traced Through Coal and especially Renewal are all quality DB and the closer Endings and Continuations is pure bliss m/

It's so funny that besides having trash taste in general, dimmu borgir fans also have trash taste in dummu borgir. This is a lot better than anything they did before. The couple cuts I heard from Eonian were decent as well, at least compared to the dumpster fire that is Enthrone Darkness Triumphant.

I think its too short too actually be one but it qualifies for me.

Also, I work in the internal affairs of taste police and I'm gonna have to confiscate his badge
