I mean I love this album, it's an excellent listen and there's nothing particularly wrong about it, I just can't see what makes this stand out among the multitudes of excellent records these guys have under their belt. the early stuff just has an incredible charm and dare i say magic about it that makes records like Eld and Blodhemn just stand out far and above all other viking bm of the era. madraum and their first two records are also amazing.

the textural richness of the tracks here reminds me of the greatest neurosis albums, part of why I hold this album in such high regard. It feels very emotionally complex.

Wow, Night Sight is such a cool track. Whole record is really good with stellar production. Seems to be a 4.5, but hearing the chorus line 10.000x on the first track bugs me haha
