Any chance someone might like The Seer / To Be Kind if they do not love any of the earlier releases? I mean there's always a chance I guess, but are they very different?



Heard Filth, Soundtracks, White Light, TGA and this. All 2.5-3, nothing terrible I just struggle to stay engaged for an album's worth of material. Filth is the easiest due to brevity, but still not quite my vibe, it has a cool sound but found it somewhat repetitive.

Always worth a shot, I suppose, because those albums are so drastically different from everything else they've done. Gave this a listen for the first time today. I have to be in the right mood to be challenged by a Swans record and I guess today was a good day. I really enjoyed this, but its flawed in the same way I find their early works to be too raw in places.
