Whoa, whoa, whoa. They do NOT have the lyrics of the Kinks. The Kinks were pithy, descriptive and had an impressive eye for detail. On this album, every lyric is either ambiguous or deals with the most generic emotion.
Oh well. Still an amazing album.

Pure Quality all over the place. I still can't believe how the fuck did Noel write some of these songs.. I just think that this album is the most melodic album I've ever heard. yeah, melody really shines thru every tune! goddamn, I wish I had written it.. ;(
P.S. the album has the greatest ending ever with Morning Glory and Champagne Supernova. you just can't beat these songs.. This Message Edited On 10.19.08

The album is fantastic.Its Noel at his very best,before the drugs and the fame got to him.The songs are catchy,and in many cases anthemic.Its hard not to sing along to some of the songs,especially Wonderwall and Don't Look Back in Anger.And She's Electric my favourite ever song no one has heard of.

"Don't Look Back in Anger" is such an awesome song. Even being a fan of bands like Slipknot, Mudvayne, and Shinedown, I'm still a sucker for ballads - especially better-than-usual ones.
