I like how this album is literally designed with consistency in mind but people who like MTM somehow find this uneven. blows my mind

Blackout is really underrated and agreed that Waiting for the End is one of their best. Top 10 LP. You can feel the emotion in Chester’s voice — the song is about his divorce.

Tbqh I went through a phase where I wrote off a lot of Linkin Park as simplistic, and structurally and lyrically they definitely are, but there are so many production tricks and little samples hidden in the mix on a lot of their first two releases that I'm still occasionally finding new ones even nearly two decades on.

My favorite record on their discography, a great journey. At the same time I am saddened by the loss of Chester, when this album came out he seemed very excited about the direction the band was going.

Post-hiatus Linkin Park is objectively superior to Pre-Hiatus Linkin Park. Hybrid and Meteora ain't as good as y'all make them out to be.

I really like Hybrid Theory, meteora not so much (mainly because the riffs are very generic, the production is not so good). At ATS, I see the band refreshed, excited by new ideas, new sounds, more mature. It's a shame that in Living Things this creativity has declined a little, and the sound has become more polished and more oriented by singles.

@Butkuiss There is a documentary that shows the process of creating this album, and I must say that it is very interesting. Many instruments, equipment and tricks were used.

Post hiatus Linkin Park? They never went on hiatus. What hiatus are you referring to?
