Yeah, the reissue is just too darn long. That's what happens when you get two versions released.



Still, it's an interesting relic of its time.

The reissue is the longest version, with 17 tracks.

i don't mind that they combined them for the remasters cos you get Purple Haze and Hey Joe etc. still only clocks in at an hour. i love all three Experience albums



and i dig that yellow psychedelic cover.

think it was originally all under Jimi Hendrix but got split. and the votes carried over for the others but not this one for some reason. not 100% sure though.

got moved I should say* not split. the Experience LPs got moved and the Band of Gypsys and posthumous stuff stayed under Jimi Hendrix

i backflip all the time on a favourite. used to be Axis. these days it's Electric Ladyland provided I'm in the mood for Voodoo Chile/a double album, otherwise it's this one.
