Dude there's much better than dc Talk that just wasn't a fraction as popular. Check Daniel Amos - Motorcycle for some good '90s neo-psych Christian rock and The Prayer Chain - Mercury for shoegazer/Radioheadish stuff.

Don't worry, I was mainly talking about the mainstream. I really love 90s Christian thrash and death metal like Mortification and Tourniquet, as well as Antestor and Believer. I still really love this band regardless, though. I know part of that's my nostalgia for these guys as well

Hellyeah, Jars of Clay were one of the big childhood memories as well! Their debut album is still pretty great
