I'll check this out, I liked the lead single.

Why did I get three ghost negs? I mean one's probably from sea, am I right? but it wasn't a bad written review

Hmm, maybe sea did neg since I neg'd his review (wish I could take it back as it's not THAT bad.) I liked your review, heyadam, because short and to the point reviews are my fave.

lol it's cool, sputnik isn't my life. I just felt this deserved more than a 2, so I did my own.

I neg'd. your analyzation is very very threadbare. it's awesome that you're taking a different p.o.v., seriously, but you're gonna need to explain yourself a little better, provide an argument rather than simply saying, "this happens. it's good." your 4th paragraph a perfect example of this.
on top of that, your review is written like so... "but it wasn't a bad written review", either grammatically incorrect or just plain awkward-sounding.

I Dont wanna dance has been my anthem and I dont think it will let up.

Alright man, i'll do better, but I don't see THAT many grammatical errors and its not that awkward either. I can see why you neg'd it though I guess.
|
| |
thanks for changing your mind. I'm assuming that's why 2 other people neg'd too.

3 now, but I'm also still trying to better my writing. It just seems like this is less of a judging of writing, than it is a major difference of opinions. Cause I have seen far worse written reviews that have done well because it agrees with the general population's view of the material

Me: 2 other
+ Me = 3. and yes, I agree, when you take a more controversial stance, obviously, you're going to be open to more scrutiny, you have to justify yourself better. you didn't here. for instance, I feel that one of my personal best-written reviews is one of my fewer ones that has a bunch of negs, simply because it goes way against popular opinion. on the other hand, if the writing is adequate, 9 times out of 10 you're going to get almost all pos' I've noticed.
like I said, here, there's no strong argument. you flat-out ignored the biggest complaints on the album (for me, at least) the lyrics and production, and instead just ambiguously grazed over the rest, said "this happens then this happens" and then later said "it's good," but never really analyzed or argued, which is really what constitutes good writing, I think, in a [important part!] review.
hope this helps

I Don't Wanna Dance was the one song that got me hyped for this, but the rest of the songs were just average.

Alright man thanks a lot for your input. I'll definitely put that into consideration next time I do a review. And I'll edit up this one some time tomorrow, and fix some of those issues.

srsly your recommended tracks weren't the best ones. wish you were here is definitely the greatest. just saying.

I definitely prefer Hangover to any other song on there
