Ye def. Pretty much all the vinyl I inherited needs a good cleaning, my dad was a heavy indoors smoker his entire life

Crikes, that probably did a number on the records then. Nothing too serious, but definitely effective enough to need cleaned and/or having the jackets aired out.

A'ight this album makes me realize that I'm about to become a huge Crimson fanboy, looking forward to hearing more of their stuff as time goes on
Still think I prefer the debut to this but it's close, tbh this could maybe end up a 5 if "Happy Family" grows on me

theyre european and proud. and thats not some white power remark, i just like the total absence of american blues influence. crimson had no need for sex appeal or any of that shit. fucking freaks

you know my only crimson lp i own is discipline? ive been collecting vinyl for seven or eight years and crimson is a group thats always been expensive. nowadays all vinyl is expensive cause its hip as hell, but crimson were always 10 bucks whereas shit like rush, yes, genesis was 2 to 5 bucks everywhere

i dunno if kendrick or gambino referenced em in an interview or some shit but theres no reason goddamn tarkus is 7 dollars now
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.6 | Sound Off
most likely because Tarkus is their most popular album/hardest to find in really good shape
you could find the s/t for 50 cents in mint condition easily, but that can't be said about Tarkus

id say brain salad surgery is their most popular tbh, its got 2 radio hits, elaborate foldout cover with giger artwork. either way i paid around 3 dollars for most of shit back in high school, around 1.50 for the s/t, i think 95 cents for love beach

then again theres really only a couple places i shop for vinyl at, the thrift stores are too inconsistent for me to drive to very often. living in bumfuck i end up wasting gas and finding nothing but engelbert humperdink

I absolutely refuse to pay a single cent for Love Beach, you'd probably have to beg me to take a copy. They're fucking abundant in NE Ohio.

i was playing a new doom wad a couple years back and in a secret area there was a tv set with tarkus' cover on the screen
