Pre-Transmissions Lips certainly has it's considerable moments, but they definitely upped the ante as far as consistent album experiences go with this one. Everything before this is patchy, sometimes patchy-good, but still patchy.
Basic opinion perhaps, so I’ll spice it up a little by saying the debut is the best of their first 5.
