c'mon now man, I'll give you three reasons:
a) It has simplistic and not very memorable or emotionally enticing(imo) soloing for prog-rock standards (led zeppelin were more complex than that)
b) It's length doesn't justify its structure; a synth intro, an unusual time signature, some spaced out soloing, the same unusual time structure again, synth outro. This could be done in 5 minutes, but Camel instead stretched it out to 9 results in
c) Too much noodle and for soloing's sake.
