Listened this earlier in honor of it being Angus Young's birthday.
One of the greatest hard rock albums of all time. Will probably jam Let There Be Rock later.

Great bump! Decades since i actually listened to this.
It was the fav LP of a high school friend of mine back in 1980-81.
T/t is a top, imo.
|

T/t is probably my all time karaoke jam and arguably the greatest hard rock song of all time. But listening to this now I think Touch Too Much is currently my favourite song on it.

Thanks for the rec. Just checked, and HtH is still arguably the greatest hard rock song of all time.

bands with incontrovertibly superior songwriting and variety in their music yes
not everyone can stand to listen to the exact same power chords in the exact same chord progressions for 50 albums in a row. at least if it were as fast as punk maybe id consider it but

this is way up there with nickelback's 'all the right reasons'

"bands with incontrovertibly superior songwriting and variety in their music yes

None of that has anything to do with the quality of an individual song.

nice edit
yea i dont rate albums based on individual songs. an album with 2 good songs and 8 pieces of forgettable drivel is not a good album
|
| |
It should have been an obvious typo to anyone with even an iota of awareness of context. But then again the original assertion was that highway to hell is "arguably the greatest hard rock S O N G of all time" and here you are arguing about how to rate albums.
