As I said Yazz, it's my first review.
Advice is welcome.
Anything I should change or add?
You need to try harder. You're not trying hard enough.

Wow. This album gets too much exposure. It's really not that special.

Eh, I'm not surprised. I knew before this came out that there would probably be 10+ reviews eventually.

i am failing to see what the big deal about this album is. i know there is a lot of attention surrounding the death of The Rev, but this album isn't even as catchy as A7X's s/t. It is more instrumentally in tune to their abilities, but until the final 2-3 tracks, it comes across as forced and boring, plus Shadow's vocals are at an all time low here

I actually like his vocals here better than any of their other albums. I've never really liked his vocals much, but he's more tolerable here and occasionally, dare I say it, actually pretty good (So Far Away, God Hates Us). Plus the diversity on the album helps. The guitarwork is obviously pretty strong, too.

i can't tell if his vocals got worse or maybe i just started listening to better music since their last release
god hates us, fiction, and save me are good but after 2 listens i can't tolerate the rest of it. who knows maybe it'll grow but i have a sinking feeling it won't haha

I was never a big fan of these guys in the first place, just a few songs here and there, so this is really the first time I've enjoyed an album from them from start to finish (well, minus Nightmare).

The album came out TODAY. And there are already SIX goddamned reviews for it. At this rate half of
Sputnik will be Nightmare reviews in no time.
Edit: Well, today in the U.S.
