I miss the time when hyped bands were actually good. Amazing album! It just gets better and better in time!

this album feels profound somehow. not necessarily a favorite but the way it flows/builds/develops. the opener is a good example: feels simple but it's not. really like "empty room" what a banger.

Has a lot of undeniably great songs on it, but I've always thought this was their weakest overall. Dunno.

Well, until their last album took that spot.

Neon Bible is their best, lads.

Woah there.

It's close, and has the best theming out of all of them, but funeral is a tough one to beat.

I could see the reasoning for any one of their first four being someone's favorite.

before asking if rock is dead, one should ask they/themselves if rock was ever relevant to begin with. arcade fire merely deconstructed the genre and threw it back into the bin where it belongs, no smoke and mirrors. I mean this is my expert opinion, don't take my word for it

"since win butler's a sexual predator"

Didn't know that. I'm not surprised though. He has the typical facial structure of a sociopath.
