Hopefully Tonight the World Dies is on that list.

M's vocals on that hook are oozing with passion

I remember being 13 and begrudgingly listening to this because Mike Portnoy was on it and Dream Theater was my favourite band

I wasn't sure if I was allowed to like it or not, I had to go ask my metal elitist friend first

One of my metaldudes friend was in a band that only played covers and one night they played So Far Away. It was remarkably okay for them I guess but at the end the singer decided to close the song with a scream and it was possibly my first moment of cringe™️, especially because the crowd had a lot of adults/elders and the scream was the shrill whimpy kind

This album hasn't aged well. Used to think it was pretty epic (and some of it still is... E.g. Save Me) but I can't remember the last time I REALLY wanted to listen through this. Songs all feel a little boring and stagnant, especially now the new album has dropped.

I haven't actually listened to this in a while but I have revisited a lot of the tracks here recently and I still love it. Although it probably helps that this is one of the albums that got me into metal. And the guitar work here is top notch and probably has M Shadows best vocal performance as well.

I still like this one but there's too much of a sugary friendly veil that covers almost every moment of it

This was my favorite Avenged Sevenfold record after its release. But since then, The Stage and LIBAD has trumped it considerably. It's now my 3rd favorite, absolutely love the bookends.

This is probably the A7X album I've listened to the least, and I'm not really sure why since it's pretty darn good!

He gave Dark Angel - Darkness Descends a 1.5 which leads me to believe he's not a thrash fan.

This was the first record from a7x I ever listened to and it still bangs.

Still bangs for sure. Such a bittersweet one too, given the cricumstances with the Rev

I just realized that the title track is a Michael Jackson song with distorted guitars
