For real, I'm actually impressed. Bumped this up from 2.5 to 4

It's impressive how hard they fell off from this. I mean, the vocals on SAF are significantly worse and they weren't stellar here

I' struck by nostalgia atm and listening to some cringe shit. BFMV are quite good for that tbh

I find if I shut myself off to most of the lyrics, this is a pretty good listen. A few songs override that and I skip them entirely, tho.

Title track from SAF still slaps

That song along with Forever And Always and Hearts Burst are just wicked
edit: Actually that whole album is solid

Scream Aim Fire is quite boring bar Waking The Demon, Say Goodnight and Take It Out On Me

Pretty sure this and Atreyu's Curse were my first mxc albums
Get a lil nostalgia kick off both of them but I would say this aged better than Atreyu

atreyu and bfmv were my life in middle school hahah. def some of my first metalcore along with killswitch. old atreyu is still solid and fun for the most part. a deathgrip on yesterday goes hard. but this is better i agree. the riffs on here are so fun.

Scream Aim Fire had some decent tunes, but stuff like Eye of the Storm are snoozefests. SAF was a drop in quality. This is still their best and they will never reach this quality again.

SAF was ass when it came out, but I've been listening to it more in the past couple years and it's really grown on me.
