I've heard that learning English later in life as your non-primary language is more difficult than most languages, just because simple rules that apply to many other languages derived from Latin are not present in English. more oddities within the language, something.
I remember when I was in French, think about learning the language as a kid vs. English and French sure seemed to make more sense lol

I just mean that when I was taking classes, I was thinking about how children learn English, versus how children learn French when they're learning how to talk. French overall sure seemed to make more sense and easier to learn than English, English is messed up

Yeah that could be, I never spoke French too much outside of class (sadly) so I don't know as much about the practical usage of the language as you do about English probably

It doesnt happen enough for my taste that I speak English. I'm using English within Sputnik more than anything, cos I dont have enough occasions to practice it out there by oral conversations, sadly. I try my best to read as much reviews as I can though. I used to be a good student in English, but school is far behind me now.
