They never published the negative review. I sent it to them. Got a like. Huehuehue can't take the criticism :3

Don't think I've ever seen a band post a negative review of their own album

I have for them to either laugh at it or take on board constructive criticism

As someone who's had the album for a couple weeks, I think it's a solid 4. A relatively uneven, somewhat directionless first half hurts the final product, but there's some phenomenal material once things start to click on "Living Waves." That song and all that follow are 4.5-5 material.

10 minutes into the first track and i kinda like it in some parts but the tech-death stuff is annoying

This is actually a lot less technical than their later work

If you want something with even less tech try their debut

This is straight-up prog dm, the tech doesn't really come into play until Shin-Ken and only on Spiritual does it really become present

That means you're listening to the remastered version, which is horrible imo. Get the original ASAP. And yeah, that cover is hilariously brilliant

Totally agreed Mars, besides the technical solos there are really no tech-death moments here

Yeah dude the SW bonus track is such a treat

It's hilarious when you listen to the full album and right after its dramatic climax they play a fucking John Williams medley lol
