Never got the hype for this album/band

there's nothing to 'get' in this band

It's all about the drum intro to pull harder and hearing it for the first time as an 11 year old. Trust.

Maybe I had to be 11 to enjoy it because this does absolutely nothing for me

Yeah can definitely spot a few inconsistencies now, but I still love the album. Riffs hard, solos hard, even if Matt's diction is absolutely awful

I think In Waves deserves a lot more credit than some give it. The fact it was musically straightforward was it's greatest strength, so even with a small few filler tracks it still had a lot of strong material.

Yeah In Waves is underrated. I'd say it's about as good as this tbh.

Drowning in Slow Motion tho
man I have no idea why that song wasn't in the original cut.

Caustic definitely has one of the best interludes this band has done. Almost meditative how they executed. That song should have been a single.

First time I listened to this in years. The vocals were and still are some of the most grating vocals I've ever heard, ruins some songs almost. Instrumentals are pretty good.
