Ok. On This Heats 1981 album Deceit, the band applies the formula of their debut to Post-Punk. With the interjection of Krautrock elements on "Paper Hats" and "Makeshift Swahili", influencing countless punk bands. The combination of punk and tape music had not been achieved before the release. Utilised to its full potential on "Cenotaph". The track "Independence" combines asian folk and carribean music w punk. And succeeds. Happy?

Don't question my ratings.

Album Rating: 4.5
It's not the influence that effects my rating. It's the creation of new styles or lack there off. e.g Ornette Coleman "The Shape of Jazz to Come" was the shape of jazz to come.

The s/t is definitely interesting, but I always appreciated the extra accessibility of this one. They make things a bit more direct while still keeping a wide variety of sounds

Same and it's only really "direct" relative to the debut. It's still totally out there.
