I think Motley Crue had bearable lyrics yes at times it may have been cheesy but I prefer happier songs to crybaby whiny stuff. Rock music isn't all about agony and despair, it's fine for a couple of songs in an album but in everyday life people have to be motivated to overcome bad things and try to be happy
