Because it's clearly melodic hardcore. Like it sounds a lot like a watered down Final Fight with awful growling.

Yes, I have listened to this band, and it's pretty much metalcore. Huge, enormous breakdowns, growling, some blast beats mixed in. It's metalcore. It sounds NOTHING like the bands I listed above.

Also, if you're using Final Fight as a jumping off point for melodic hardcore, maybe you shouldn't be listening to the genre. Js

Final Fight's just my favorite melodic hardcore band.
And I don't see many metal elements in this album, breakdowns I guess, but tons of hardcore has breakdowns.
And metalcore is a type of hardcore, unless it's like this new faux-metalcore wannabe Gothenburg shi.
