Pretty good album. Not sure if I have listened to it enough to warrant a 4.5, but I tend to rate albums a bit early and a bit high anyways, then I grow into them.

Lower Still is really awesome. Only downside for me with this album is that it's kind of hard to
ignore how strongly religious the lyrics are. I would prefer it if they were a little less literal.

Lower Still makes my blood run cold every time I listen to it. Seriously one of the most awesome songs I've heard in my life.
Except for Sound And Fury the middle part of the album drags (My Epic seems to have this problem a lot on their full-length releases) but it's still a great album and probably their best so far.

It is interesting how an album can sit in collection for years garnering nothing but an occasional "meh", and then all of a sudden become an amazing listen...like what happened to me with this album today
