This album rules, one of my go-to winter night jams. I'm shocked too that there are only three pages of discussion, thought it was relatively popular on Sputnik.

Good stuff but the tracks bleed into each other a bit too much for my liking.

It is a little homogeneous from memory, distant memory in fact so I might be talking out of my backside come to think of it (like usual, yeah I know).

Nice. I think the first two tracks are my faves but the two you mentioned are great as well.

Album has a really great sound, I'm just not totally convinced by the songwriting.

@pheromone im liking it, but they seem to suppress their Scottish accents a lot. theres something about that accent man, it sounds great in music.

Idk that The Delgados suppress the accent really, I just think this dude and the guy from WWPJ have really strong, thick accents. Plus the Delgados are a bit more melodic which kind of suppresses the accent a bit by nature.

I know what you mean, this feels like the lower end of 4 sometimes, but god I fucking adore it when it's on.

Yeah it's kind of right on the line but it's very listenable and every song with the exception of "Last Year's Rain" and the t/t is excellent, even if there's not a whole ton of variety. Just wish there were more that hit me as hard as the first two tracks.

Looking forward to hearing some of their other stuff.

Weirdly enough, I’m really excited for their new one, all the singles have been killer & the album art screams classic !
