First of all, Anthony Green actually does stick to the higher end of his range more often than the middle. If you think most of his vocals are his mid range, that would make his high end near supersonic (/exaggeration), which it isn't.



Secondly, so what if Jonny Craig is a dick, its not like he uses his music as a platform from which to insult you all on a personal level or anything. And yeah noobz saying he's a nice guy? Try learning the meaning of noob. I said he was a decent dude on one of the occasions that I met him, and my post count is a somewhat higher than yours. Noob? no. If you could focus on the musical side of things, that would be good.

It's too bad Craig involved himself in such mediocrity. DGD took off after he left, and now this band is getting compared to the far superior Circa (not my opinion). Maybe the next group he joins will dare to break new ground, and not plant another seed in the whithering "post-hardcore" garden.

Didn't really care for Relativity. I found it so boring instrumentally and vocally at times, so I'm doubtful about this record too, but I'll give it a listen.

Lolololol, wikipedia says emarosa is soul music. While I'll admit the singer (and him only) has some influences that might be around the area of "soul" that doesn't mean it's his genre. I'm not going to go into an editing war with some guy on wikipedia, but in no way is Emarosa soul or RnB to begin with, the vocalist just has some influences in that.

I heard it was because of his dependence on drugs and alcohol which caused him to be late and perform sloppy at shows, and that he also wasn't getting along with anyone in the band.



That all sucks and I have no doubt that he would have been shitty to be around back then. He even admits it himself, take a look:

But it sounds like he's moved past that stage of his life, it sounds like the DGD dudes have moved past it and get along with him fine now. He honestly sounded like a cool dude in the interview. I know he could be putting on a show and it's easy to just make up some shit about how you're better than that when asked a direct question about getting kicked out of the band, but the quote:



"It’s also gonna be cool to see Kurt sing some of the stuff I wrote. He’s been a friend of mine for a long time, back when he was in other bands. I never had a problem with him and I always loved his style. So it’d be cool to see him sing some of my songs--if they play them."



Especially the "if they play them" just all seems pretty humble and I think the fact that DGD and Jonny clearly don't have any problems anymore, that they toured together and had jonny do guest vocals for them means a lot more than some bad decisions he made back in 2007.
