well Lewis they kind of both use that sort of off-kilter rhythmic style, though obviously they're different, it just kinda strikes me as similar. I think Menomena are in a different class though

Tree, Swallows, Houses was amazing, this is pretty cool still though. First time I heard this band they were opening for the Melos and I was really impressed by their guitars then I lol'd when he started singing.

i overplayed the shit out of this band and i was pretty sure i was done with them so i never checked this out. but i just listened to 'solid ground' and it was actually pretty sweet
