haha yeah puzzles, all i was thinking while reading this was "oh man, dont tell me 12 foot ninja is a rip off" nice review though greg, will put this on my to-do list

Oh. Yeah. 12 Foot Ninja weren't the first to come up with and utilize this idea. This being said, Shaolin are more proggy in a traditional sense of this word. So, you should enjoy it.

I can definitely hear some Asian influences here, more than on their previous disc.

Idk. These influences are especially apparent for me in the first half of this album. I think both melodically and rhythmically it's very oriental-sounding.

Amazing record period.......Love the five venoms songs plus Farewell, others were fine too but the standouts....a lot better then a lot of bands these days.
