You know the man will try to make a movie about himself or one in which he plays the lead character when he starts to think that people aren't paying enough attention to him.

It's already been done I'm afraid^^. Haven't you heard of Haggard? He's not the lead but he is one of the main characters and the editor and one of the writers.

God is dead.

He also made a sex tape. So the Holy Ghost is f*cked now, as well. Go figure.

Gah, HIM sucks. this isn't metal.
btw...i heard the lead singer died, did that actually happen?

No one's trying to say it is metal. Calm down, kid.

What tabloid did you hear that from?

lemme teach y'all a bit. mmmkay?
1. the name was kind of a spontanous joke before a gig. they later on changed it to HIM, 'cuz they didn't wanna be associated with the occult - and 'cuz the Finns couldn't pronounce it (lol).
2. they ain't satanic. they have satanic references. and so what? do you even know what satanism is? it's a sort of egoism. check out the Satanic Bible.
3. that last song (the demo) is a cut of "I Would Cross Oceans of Wine to Find You", a demo of Resurrection.
4. their genré (Love Metal) is a fusion of Alternative Rock, Heavy Metal, Pop and Goth.
5. Ville Hermanni Valo is a guy.
6. Bam is cool. HIM is genius. but for the love of God, SEPERATE THEM! Bam is making HIM look bad.
anyway. adequate review. fantastic album.

About time someone other than me said it.
4. their genré (Love Metal) is a fusion of Alternative Rock, Heavy Metal, Pop and Goth.
It can't really be a genre if they're the only ones who play it. I consider them the poppy Goth rock in a similar vein to The Cure, although I like The Cure better. Robert Smith is the king.
6. Bam is cool. HIM is genius. but for the love of God, SEPERATE THEM! Bam is making HIM look bad.
I actually think Bam is a fucking goon, but I do agree that his tactless whoring of the band really hurts their publicity more than it helps.

Love Metal isn't a genre, they're pop rock really. If they didn't wanna be associated with "the occult" they shouldn't have an album name with '666' in it, and a band logo that includes a pentagram. I'm not saying they're actually satanists, but it's a stupid gimmick/whatever you want to call it in my opinion.
And they're definitely not genius. They're alright though. This album's pretty good.

Yeah, lots of people tend to take them too seriously. They're not really a pure metal band; too poppy for that. I don't really mind them, (I like The Sacrement from Love Metal) tbh, they don't set the world on fire but they'd keep you warm for a while ;)

Their first three album's are my favorite. I may be a bit (okay A LOT) bias towards my rating for them since I guess I am a fanboy to these guys. I really think they rule. HIM is just really catchy pop/rock music and I guess they are as metal as Linkin Park or Disturbed (exactly, not very metal), but I like their music.

I actually enjoyed this guys quite a bit in my youth, but its long since tapered off. They still definitely had their moments, though I find their cover of (Don't Fear) The Reaper to be blashphemy
nice job on the review

Bam Margera?? There are people who really think that the ones who listen to HIM do it because of that?? That really makes me laugh!!
