"I think Symbolic (and Death overall) sucks for a multitude of reasons. The vocals and guitar tone are horrid, the riffs are repetitive and bland, the songwriting is boring and incorporates too many dumb ideas, and the production is thin as rice paper. They're one of those bands people feel pressured to like, but when you take away the non-music elements like Chuck's death (RIP btw), "influence", clout, genre-pioneering, etc. it's just really not good at all. Hard pass."

no, general dm bands dont have half and half emphasizingly slow and fast sections. bolt thrower are largely mid tempo but pure win speed on their debut, they dont switch every other section
get real yourselves lmao is it strictly deathdoom no they add the tech and melodies to make it much lighter but its still built on deathdoom
