Everything that makes this record good is present on When the Sky Turns Black. And as for Jumpin' Jesus, it's basically old school Floridan style dm on steroids.

Which part of the review are you referring to Wretched? I didn't really get that impression but maybe I missed something. I mean, dude did rate it a 4.5.
Either way, 100% agree that this (and the follow-up) will never get old. Definitely borders on a 5, but then tbh I don't know why we all don't 5 this anyway. I mean, it's most certainly a classic and there's not a dull moment or any filler to be found. Just slays from start to finish.
