in all honesty they sound nothing like Neurosis, so that's understandable. but Isis, not so much.

Just saying. The guitar work is most similar to Rosetta than anything. Nonetheless, it's some of the best music to ever exist and I strongly recommend checking out Godspeed, Isis, Neurosis, Cult of Luna, and other post-rock/metal.

well neurosis obviously since im sure you know the opening line to "no river to take me home" is "the water's deep here" but i dont really consider them a genre but yeah im not that into isis though i really liked the white cult of luna album i cant think of the name of it

Well, this is awesome.
I just checked their myspace today, and saw that their newest status update is:" New band coming soon." Better not mean they've already broken up or anything, because as I've been listening to this, I have found it to be absolutely incredible.
By the way, with the apostrophe in their name, it annoys me too. I dunno, sometimes I'll say sentences without using a pronoun, modifier, or conjunction when I speak. I think that's what they might be doing with their name. It's like if someone said," The waters deep here." When they actually had meant," The waters are deep here." I dunno, just my thoughts on that.
