i listen to this album all the time sober and it's really great, but when you're stoned it's so easy to lose yourself in some of the more trippy songs ("it was not meant to be", "desire be desire go", "runway, houses, city, clouds"). it's amazing.

Was soooo close to buying this the other day since it was cheap but yeah, went with Nick Cave instead! :P

haha i've heard most of the album on youtube and i'll almost definitley pick it up when I have more money. They sure do get probs for sounding exactly like John Lennon without sounding forced.

"i don't really mind" is such a blatant nod to the beatles, i love it. personally i hear more dungen, cream and early pink floyd in this album though.

i was there for that, it was great. the video doesn't quite capture their live sound, it's mind blowing. i have to say i preferred them back in the day when paisley was still on guitar instead of bass (he used to rock out way more) but they're way more reliable now than they were.
