I don't like this band anymore, but I loved them when I was in middleschool, something about shrieking idk.

But seriously, you're saying that this and Blue Sky Research sound like Gift?

I mean, it's Taproot, ya, but the band has changed their sound somewhat over time.

i really liked the album. i agree that 911lost is a good track, but i disagree with ur comments regarding the first two tracks. And unmovable..... im pretty sure steven richards refrained from any kind of rapping on welcome and one song on blue sky and our long road. And then its debatable if ud call it rapping in the first place.

Other then that nice reveiw sir.

Alsoooooo

I remember Welcome was lot more Alice And Chains/Linkin Park influenced, while Gift sounded more like Limp Bizkit.

So yeah, not a good band, but at least give them credit for changing up their sound.

a ton of other bands have copied its sound and most of them have executed it better than this and with a bit more originality

Isn't the dude on the front cover the lead singer of Divine Heresy?

I believe Gift (or at least half of the songs in it) has enough substance to stand on it's own in the nu metal scene. I'm going to listen to this album tomorrow, hope it's good.

Welcome had it's moments but 3/4 of the songs are painfully bland. I only listened to Blue-Sky research a couple of times and didn't appeal to me at all. I never cared to listen to Our Long Road Home, how does it stand next to the other albums?

Not gonna lie, I like this album.

"Fractured (Everything I Said is True)" is like the biggest guilty pleasure of 2010.

Great album. Check it out. If you are looking for some heavy rock, this is your album.

You can't base your own opinion off of this reviewer. For every bad review on this album, there are 20 good reviews. Best live show in existence as well. This band is very hard working and very cool to their fans. Definitely check out Blue Sky Research. Epic.
