Death metal is most of the time a totally worthless sub genre of metal. Almost every time I listen to a death metal album, I ask myself the same question: "Why the hell do I keep wasting my time?" That happened to me here as well. That said, I have to admit that the production of this album is so top-notch and the musicianship is just so insane, that I can't give a lower rating than one and a half stars, even though I wanted to. And who knows, if - if - someday I suddenly decide to do a deeper exploration into the world of The Apostasy, maybe I'll raise my rating a star or so. That has known to happen.
