It just depends on what you enjoy, when I listen to Ornette Coleman it entertains me and holds my
attention, when I listen to this I just get bored and irritated.
also, I agree that people should actually listen to this (or any cd) before passing judgement and
rating it based on 30 seconds of a youtube video. Just because one douchebag on an online community
full of douchebags writes a negative review doesn't mean that someone else won't like it.

i didnt say they were the same i said they get railed for doing things that free jazz gets praised for...people use 'randomness' and 'non-repetition' and in some cases 'mindless technicality' to justify their hatred for this album, when those concepts that are so penchant to genres like free jazz are used to justify their praise...not to mention this album definitely repeats things and has more 'structure' to the technicality in my experiences. though i also dont like this nearly as much as most of the free jazz that ive heard.

I couldn't stand to listen to their debut more than once and judging from the review (which btw, is AWESOME), i think i need to avoid this one like the plague.....
