I've played piano for 13 years, clarinet for 9, and guitar for 4. I can also play drums and bass, I can sing and scream, and I've been composing for 6 years. Now that I've established that I can, in fact, "play an instrument," I'm going to go ahead and state that the musicianship here is fairly average. Listen to Dream Theater's Scenes from a Memory and I guarantee that you'll agree with me.

And to all of you saying this cd is great, just listen to any other of the Bullet's cds (mostly The Poison). They have the same exact musicianship, yet are tons better than this one. Again, tons is in relative terms for some of you, because you a lot of you don't like them as a whole.
Personally, I am a fan of them, and am sorely disappointed.

I loved the Poison, Scream Aim Fire was around average. This just sucks.

I thought I liked this album at first, but I think I was just excited to hear some new material. After listening to it one time I went back and listened to it again and I didn't like it nearly as much the second time around.

Sorry to say, but this review was fairly poorly written. Grammatically fine, of course, but it read as the sad wailing of a fan boy that will never be appeased by anything except an exact replica of what got their attention in the first place, and even then, they'd cry about it being too similar.
This album is NOT the poison, nor is it trying to be... But the author seems to want it to be something it's not aiming for, spending the length of the review whining about the past.

Hmm... I'm sorry you feel that way.
I realize that change and progress is what a band should undergo in it's time. But I feel that, while their sound has become more streamlined, it really hasn't changed much. A lot of the variety was lost in the progression of this band. It seems to me like they dumbed it down, instead of moving forward.
But hey, this is just a review and I'm telling it from my perspective. I'm sorry if you disagree.

Lyrics are fucking cringe worthy. Good review, pos'd. And I don't think you sounded like a fanboy, I think you sounded like someone who enjoyed an album by a band who have since turned terrible.
