i always thought the charm of the cold vein isn't the production but the way it complemented vordul/vast aire's flow to create that cold, apocalyptic vibe you know? like i would never listen to the beats alone and be like YEAH THIS IS AWESOME but it works so well as a whole. the lyrics are mostly whatever with a few decent one-liners
also speaking of good production this album isn't too shabby

this record really is a great example of how production and vocals go hand-in-hand. Ozzborn is a solid rapper, but I wouldn't mark his other records as classics... Zavala really steps it up a notch and was definitely the missing ingredient for his success.
