I've never gotten into this band, but just thought I'd look up Get Out on YouTube and hear for myself...and if that's "easily one of Circa Survive's worst songs to date", then that's fucking promising and I should get into this band asap!

havent listened to this band at all so can't really comment on your critisism, but it does seem like you basically say theyre not a 'smart' band and then pretty much just try to undermine them with 'smartness' (and language especially) from the viewpoint that you want them to be at your level. still, idk =).

Never saw the other three of those posts, and er... mind me asking why you dislike my review? Constructive criticism and all that jazz.

I say they're cheesy/boring... and they are, in my opinion, cheesy/boring.
Many bands aren't "smart", doesn't mean I can't like twis7 or even Metric.

In the second paragraph:
The shameful part is that Circa Surive show that they tithe heaps of potential, but let it disappate.
Should be dissipate? Review is good, but at times I feel that the vocabulary takes away from a fluid reading. Also, reads more like an above-average rating; you spend a good deal of time talking about where the album succeeds and a minimal time elaborating on where it stumbles. For example, you mention that Get Out is basically a cheap/gaudy attempt (and further announce that it is the album's downfall essentialized) but do not really tell us what about it makes it seem that way.
In my opinion, describing the album's weaknesses as both tepid and jocular seems like a contradiction. It just is an odd description, that the album's weak songs can be both flat/lukewarm and playful/witty at the same time.
Maybe I am missing the point. Your writing is good though, and it's nice to see a less positive review for this. I'll pos for now.
